Dr. Mark Michitsch is a Reno native and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1984. He attended the Southern California College of Optometry and obtained his Doctor of Optometry (OD) in 1988. After graduation, Dr. Michitsch served a three-year residency in ocular disease with Omni Eye Services. He then returned to work as an optometrist in Reno and has been practicing here since 1991.
In his spare time, Dr. Michitsch enjoys golfing and watching his two daughters participate in softball tournaments throughout the area. Having been a local Reno eye doctor for many years, it is no surprise that Dr. Michitsch is a Wolf Pack fan. He enjoys attending football and basketball games with his wife, Susan.
